SSMP's 4th Annual Summer Training Program
We are pleased to announce that the firm will be hosting its 4th Annual Summer Training Program from July 5th through July 30th. SSMP invites trainees from other Intellectual Property firms around the globe to be our guests and receive hands-on experience in U.S. patent practice.

The trainee's daily agenda typically includes a lecture in the morning by one of our Partners on the basics of U.S. patent laws and regulations. There are also several afternoon lectures on topics that highlight recent Federal Circuit and Supreme Court decisions on patent cases, legislative development and licensing strategies.

The trainees will also be invited to participate in various Scully Scott social activities, such as our company picnic, golf outing, Mets & Yankees games, vineyard tours and other sight-seeing opportunities in the New York area.

"The programs in the past were very well received by the trainees, who came from intellectual property law firms and companies in China, Japan and Korea. It is our intention to keep the program to a small group to maximize the learning opportunities for each individual," said Partner, Xiaochun Zhu.
